Dani’s Marathon Guide

My comprehensive guide to surving the marathon chaos as a spectator!

The 2026 Richmond Marathon

Running a marathon is more than simply completing 26.2 miles. It is a personal challenge that requires dedication, consistency, patience, and a willingness to keep going even when things get difficult. After months of training, early mornings, long runs, and plenty of moments where I questioned whether I could actually do it, I am taking on a new challenge: my next marathon.

This website is a place to document that journey and share the experiences that come with preparing for race day. From training runs and progress updates to the challenges that come with balancing running with everyday life, I want to share the process rather than just the final result. My goal is to give visitors a look into what marathon training really takes and what I learn along the way.

You can also continue exploring my website to learn more about me beyond running. I created this site to share my interests, experiences, goals, and the things that are important to me. Whether you are here because you are interested in running, curious about my journey, or simply want to get to know me better, I hope you find something that connects with you.

Most importantly, I would love to have you along for the journey. Every encouraging message, piece of advice, and bit of support makes a difference as I work toward this goal. A marathon may be an individual race, but the journey to the starting line does not have to be taken alone.

Thank you for visiting my site and being part of this new chapter. I hope you will follow along, cheer me on, and see where this journey takes me!
